Welcome to Hesham Alsalman's Website

The man behind the name
I was born in Jalajil, a nice quite town in Sudair district just 170km north of Riyadh in the heart of Najd, Saudi Arabia. After finishing High School, I went to KFUPM, Dhahran since it was the most elite and prestigious university in Saudi Arabia and I earned my Bachelors and Masters degree in Electrical Engineering. I worked since my graduation as a Graduate Assistant then as a Lecturer. I'm a happily married man since 2000.

Personal Interests
Enough with the boring stuff! (except being married, of course... sorry honey). I'm into anything computer or Internet related. I'm always trying to keep up with the latest softwares and new ideas. In fact this whole website is my latest Internet project. I've installed the latest Drupal revision as my first choice after playing with a number of CMS's. I'm learning as I go and I'm lovin it!

Another thing I'm attempting here is writing. I've always enjoyed writing bits and pieces here and there whenever I have a chance. I'm thinking of making this more of a steady habit in this website, so keep an eye for the next Pulitzer man ;) And writing isn't the only way I'm taking for a Pulitzer. I've been practicing my clicks a lot lately. I bought my first still camera in 2003 and I fell in love with stopping time since then. I've taken photography a little more seriously and purchased my first DSLR in Dec '06. I'm a proud owner of a Pentax K10D and a few lenses and accessories. You are more than welcome to check the photography section of this website and enjoy my art.
